North Korea May Be Preparing to Launch Long-Range Rocket Early Next Month
There are alarming developments out of North Korea where new satellite images reportedly show that the country may be planning to launch a long-range rocket, and according to reports, the launch could happen within the next few days!
Greg Palkot reports that the images show a lot of activity at a launch site in the northwestern corner of North Korea. The pictures show two vehicles which apparently have brought two stages of a three-stage missile to the site.
North Korea claims that the launch is for peaceful purposes and that they just want to put up a satellite. The U.S. is concerned that, instead, they could put up a nuclear payload in range of the United States.
Palkot said that while the country’s April launch was a failure, he’s been told by a highly respected aerospace expert that if this kind of activity continues, they could be ready for a launch as early as early next month.
