Drunk Man Duct-Taped to Airplane Seat After Attempts to Grope and Choke Passengers
This guy, pictured above, is not a person you’d ever hope to be seated next to on an airplane. On a flight from Iceland to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York, the man allegedly indulged in several too many drinks 30,000 feet in the air. The New York Post reports that after chugging his duty-free alcohol, he began spitting, yelling, and attempted to grope and choke people. The flight crew and fellow passengers were left with no other choice but to restrain him … with duct tape.
The man was arrested when the Icelandair flight landed in New York, but
he wasn't charged because passengers refused to come forward with their accounts of his drunken misconduct to authorities. Not surprisingly, he was treated at a nearby hospital for alcohol poisoning.
