Kelly's Court: Should Woman Fired for Being "Too Irresistible" Get Another Day in Court Following Supreme Court's Ruling?
We recently brought you the story of Iowa dentist James Knight who came under fire for firing his assistant, Melissa Nelson, for being “too irresistible.”
The Iowa Supreme Court judges ruled 7-0 that Dr. Knight acted legally when he fired Nelson. One justice on the all-male Supreme Court wrote in the decision that the firing was not motivated
simply by gender, and therefore it did not constitute discrimination.
However, on today’s Kelly’s Court, Megyn’s legal panel had much more to say on the allegedly open-and-shut case, with lawyer Lis Wiehl saying there’s no way that the court’s ruling is accurate.
