Outrage Grows in Steubenville, Ohio Over Handling of High School Rape Investigation
Outrage is growing in Steubenville, Ohio where a sheriff is under fire for his handling of a high school rape investigation.
Two Steubenville High School students were arrested in August on charges of an alleged rape against a 16-year-old girl. Soon, however, protesters arrived at the West Virginia, Pennsylvania border of the state, claiming the sheriff in the country is protecting the football team and that more people should be charged.
Walter Madison, the attorney for one of the accused players, spoke out on today's America's Newsroom, saying that he doesn't believe more players were involved, and that social media has created a subversive environment.
