VIDEO: President Obama Begins Gun Violence Remarks by Reading Letters From Children
Moments ago, President Obama began his remarks on gun violence by reading letters written by several of America’s children.
President Obama called these “some pretty smart letters from some pretty smart young people.”
The sentiments included, “I feel terrible for the parents who lost their children. I love my country, and I want everybody to be happy and safe” and “I think there should be some changes, we should learn from what happened at Sandy Hook. I feel really bad.”
