Manhunt Underway for Couple Involved in Kidnapping 5-Year-Old Girl From Her Philadelphia School
There are new details in the bizarre kidnapping of a 5-year-old girl taken from her Philadelphia elementary school earlier this week. Police are searching for a man and woman involved in the kidnapping.
A woman wearing Muslim garb came to the little girl’s school, told the school that she was her mother and that she was taking her out for breakfast. The girl was in fact kidnapped, brought to a house, told to remove her clothes and tied up and blindfolded. The next day, the girl was either allowed to leave or escaped the house herself. Someone found her Tuesday morning wearing only a t-shirt, shivering at a local playground.
The little girl is now home with her real parents, while police search for the two suspects. The woman is said to be in her 20s and between 5’5” and 5’8” tall. Police say she may be pregnant. The male is described as being light-skinned and in his mid-30s with short brown hair.
