Phil Mickelson Apologizes for Complaining About His High Taxes
Pro-golfer Phil Mickelson has apologized for going on a rant about his high taxes. Tonight on Hannity, Fox Business Network anchor Stuart Varney expressed his outrage. “A man who is successful, makes money, the government takes two-thirds of his income and he complains. He is forced to apologize?”
Mickelson said he may have to move from California because of the higher state and federal tax rates, saying that it will cause him to give more than 60 percent of his income to taxes. He said, "There are going to be some drastic changes
for me because I happen to be in that zone that has been targeted both federally and by the state, and it doesn't work for me right now."
Varney commented, “What kind of new America is it where successful people, forced out of their native state and they have to apologize because they complain about the government taking two-thirds of their income.”
