WHITE HOUSE PHOTO: President Obama Skeet Shooting at Camp David
The White House released a photo of President Obama skeet shooting at Camp David in an apparent attempt to prove to those skeptical about his target practice amid efforts to tighten gun control.
It started when President Obama was asked in an interview with the New Republic whether he has ever shot a gun. He answered, "Yes, in fact, up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time. [...] I have a profound respect
for the traditions of hunting that trace back in this country for generations. And I think those who dismiss that out of hand make a big mistake."
The official photo was taken on August 4th, 2012 but was released on Friday. It shows President Obama wearing protective glasses and earmuffs and firing a rifle.
