VIDEO: Code Pink Protesters' Outbursts Bring John Brennan Confirmation Hearing to a Halt
In a series of interruptions by protesters during the confirmation hearing of John Brennan, who was nominated to be the next director of the CIA, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) was forced to call a recess until the protesters were all removed.
In a series of four or five times, police in the chamber were forced to remove protesters. The Code Pink demonstrators had their right hands colored their right hands red to indicate blood, and were shouting about the administration's use of drone attacks overseas.
