REPORT: Police Say 3 People Killed in Shooting at Wilmington, Delaware Courthouse Was Result of Custody Dispute
** 3:15pm ET Update** Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden said in a press conference that the shooting was not a random act of violence. “Preliminarily, this was the result of a custody dispute that has lasted in our court system for several years.”
** 10:15am ET Update** The latest is that two women were killed along with the gunman. Two police officers were also shot but are expected to survive. AP reports one of the women was the shooter's wife.
** 9:45am ET Update** Bill Hemmer just reported that the situation has been resolved at the courthouse. The mayor says the shooter is dead,
and that one of the victims was the shooter's wife. The attack happened in the lobby of the courthouse.
Martha MacCallum just reported on America's Newsroom that there has been a reported shooting at a courthouse in Wilmington, Delaware.
Police confirm there were shots fired and several people were injured. According to a report from CBSPhilly.com, the incident took place at 8am ET at the New Castle County Courthouse and victims were taken to Christiana Hospital.
