Missouri Democrats Introduce Bill to Confiscate Assault Weapons

A group of Democratic lawmakers in Missouri could potentially turn thousands of legal, law-abiding gun owners into felons. A recently proposed bill would ban assault weapons and other semi-automatic guns with “assault weapon features” and give gun owners 90 days to either get rid of, dismantle, or surrender their firearms.

If citizens don’t follow the law, a sheriff could come and confiscate their weapons.

Lars Larson reacted, saying that this “sounds like something out of a Communist country or totalitarian state.”

“Hey, taking away liberties and turning Americans into criminals, isn’t that what our Democrat friends do best?,” he asked.
