Judge Rules in Favor of Texas Teen Suing Parents, Claiming They Wanted to Force Her to Have an Abortion

The Insider recently told you about a pregnant Texas teenager who was suing her parents, claiming they were trying to force her to have an abortion. In an update to the story, the 16-year-old girl identified as R.E.K. has won the right to have her baby.

A judge rendered an order saying she could go through with the pregnancy.

Lis Wiehl agreed with the ruling on The O'Reilly Factor's 'Is It Legal' segment, saying, “Choice goes both ways.”

Under the agreement, the parents will allow their daughter to marry her boyfriend. The judge also ruled that her parents have to pay for her half of her insurance, cell phone bill and return her car.
