Celebrating Black History Month: Harris Faulkner Profiles Real Estate Mogul Don Peebles

In honor of Black History Month, the Ailes Apprentice Program is sponsoring a special series celebrating exceptional Americans. This morning on Fox and Friends, Harris Faulkner brought us a revealing profile of real estate mogul Donahue "Don" Peebles. Harris gave us a sneak peek at the interview yesterday.

Harris asked Peebles about his goal of becoming the

first African American to own or develop a high rise property south of Harlem in New York City.

"There's a reason that there's no one who owns a major building south of 110th Street. ... It's they don't believe they have a chance anymore. That has to change, but somebody's got to show that it's possible," said Peebles, adding that he's got a few different projects going toward that goal.

Watch the interview, including what Peebles said about a possible run for political office:

Check out Harris' previous three profiles of Gabby Douglas, Gail Harris, and Guion Bluford, here.
