Judge Jeanine Pirro: 'Is Gun Insurance Constitutional?'
South Carolina Congressman Jeff Duncan (R) and Stephen Halbrook, outside counsel to the NRA, both joined Justice with Judge Jeanine. During Judge Jeanine Pirro’s opening statement of the show, she called out Chicago’s police chief: “This week, Chicago’s top cop, Chief Garry McCarthy, said gun rights groups that donate money to politicians, and legal gun owners themselves, are both corrupt and endanger public safety.”
The judge later asked Duncan, “You’ve been in politics for a while, you’ve gotten high ratings from the NRA – does that make you corrupt?”
Duncan reacted, saying, “No, it makes me a believer in the Second Amendment, the right of the people to keep and bear arms.”
He said people like Chief McCarthy, Vice President Joe Biden and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo need to have a history lesson on what the Founding Fathers said about the Second Amendment.
When it comes to the proposed million dollar liability insurance for licensed gun owners, Judge Jeanine asked Halbrook, “Does this strike you as constitutional?”
