WATCH: Bill O’Reilly Gives Marco Rubio Advice on How to Avoid Another 'Water Bottle Moment' on Live TV
“I’m going to give you some TV advice,” O’Reilly said, “I’ve been in this business for 36 years, so I know a little bit about it. Whenever you’re on television, particularly live television where you can’t edit
and do it again, you got to tell the folks everything. […] You just say, ‘excuse me, I’m a little parched here. I got to get a drink of water. I’ll be right back.”
O’Reilly told Rubio, “People want authenticity, senator, that’s what they want." Laughing, he added, "And if you can fake that, the sky’s the limit.”
“Or a really long straw,” Rubio quipped.
