Dennis Rodman Hangs Out in North Korea; Calls Kim Jong Un "Awesome"
Dennis Rodman was invited to North Korea by dictator Kim Jong Un. The ex-NBA star gave rave reviews of the country and its leader.
Speaking of Kim Jong Un, Rodman expressed his “love” and said, “His grandfather and his father were great leaders. And he’s such a proud man; […] he’s so awesome.”
Bernard McGuirk, executive Producer of “Imus in the Morning,” reacted on The O’Reilly Factor. “It’s obscene because they’re humanizing this clearly well-fed despot whose population is just starving to death. And I don’t really blame Dennis Rodman. He’s sort of like a useful idiot in this whole thing.”
According to The Associated Press, "Rodman arrived in Pyongyang on Monday with three members of the professional Harlem Globetrotters basketball team, VICE correspondent Ryan Duffy and a production crew to shoot an episode on North Korea for a new weekly HBO series."
McGuirk casts blame at the HBO executives who went along on the trip as a part of the television series. “Dennis Rodman doesn’t know the difference between Hong Kong and Pyongyang.”
Greg Gutfeld had a different idea, "We need to send all of our pointless celebrities to North Korea because we don’t appreciate them here. […] Call it the 'has-been exchange program.'"
