‘Fox News Sunday’ Preview: Mitt Romney Reveals the Hardest Part About Losing in His First Post-Election Interview
Tomorrow on Fox News Sunday, Mitt and Ann Romney sit down with Chris Wallace in their first interview since the election. In this sneak peek clip, the former presidential candidate opens up about the hardest part of losing the race.
During the last presidential debate, Romney brought up the effect sequester would have on the military. President Obama responded, “The sequester’s not something that I proposed. It’s something Congress proposed. It will not happen.”
Romney told Wallace that the expiration of the Bush tax cuts and the sequestration are
“an almost once in generation opportunity for America to solve its fiscal problems. If we do that we can become more competitive globally and America can lead the world for the coming century.”
He said, “The hardest thing about losing is watching this critical moment, this golden moment, just slip away with politics.”
