Australian DJ Banned From Apologizing to Family of Nurse Who Committed Suicide After Royal Prank Call
Australian DJ Mel Greig has been banned from saying sorry to the family of a nurse who committed suicide following a radio station’s royal hoax. Last December, Greig and Michael Christian prank called the hospital where Kate Middleton
was being treated for acute morning sickness. Nurse Jacintha Saldanha believed their fake British accents and gave them private information about Middleton’s health.
Since then the DJs have publicly apologized, but Greig apparently wants to reach out to the nurse’s family. The radio station has reportedly ordered her not to have any contact with them.
