WH Looks to Ratchet Back Rhetoric as North Korea Reportedly Moves Second Missile to East Coast
There are reports that North Korea has moved a second medium-range missile to its east coast. With tensions escalating, the White House is looking to ratchet back its rhetoric in fear that it's feeding the North’s belligerence.
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney reacted to this latest move, saying in part, “We continue to closely monitor the situation on the peninsula threats and provocative actions will not bring the DPRK, the security, international respect, and economic development that it seeks.”
