ANALYSIS: Video Offers Possible Clues on Afghanistan Plane Crash
The cargo plane crash at Bagram Air Field was caught on tape by a passing vehicle.
We saw some heartbreaking new video yesterday of a plane crash at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan. Monday’s crash killed the seven American crew members on board, including five from Michigan. The Pentagon believes the video is real and was taken from the car of a service member driving security at the base.
On Happening Now today, Jon Scott analyzed the video with former managing director of the NTSB Peter Goelz, who said we've seen similar accidents happen involving cargo planes.
They discussed what we can learn from the footage about what caused the plane to go down.
