Liz Claman Previews Her Interview With Buffett, Gates and Munger

FBN's Liz Claman sits down with the "richest minds" on Monday!

By Liz Claman

There never has, nor will there ever be, another shareholder meeting like that of Berkshire Hathaway. Even if you don't own the stock (and you're forgiven because a single share now costs $162,940 dollars) it's a fascinating display of Capitalism.

Most shareholder meetings are tense, serious and formal. Rarely do they run more than two hours and no way does the CEO traipse through the crowds to say hello.

Oh, and crowds? Try 35,000 people who show up every year to Buffett's hometown of Omaha just to get a glimpse of the man who nearly 65 years ago convinced friends and neighbors to let him invest their money.  Those same friends and family members are now multi-millionaires and even billionaires thanks to the plain-spoken, self-described shy kid from Nebraska.

Saturday will be the biggest display of Buffett Mania ever. Buffett told me Thursday night he's expecting a record crowd at the CenturyLink arena in downtown Omaha. The entire floor of the center, separate from the arena, is dedicated to his more than 70 businesses, many of which sell their wares to the throngs of Buffett faithful. You can buy Ginsu knives, insurance, See's peanut brittle, Fruit of the Loom underwear, a pair of Justin Brand cowboy boots, even a pre-fab Clayton home.  Buffett's Berkshire owns them all. I have no doubt the hottest thing on the floor this year will be Oriental Trading Co.'s custom mini Warren Buffett and Berkshire Vice Chair Charlie Munger ducks. Buffett bought Oriental Trading Co. last November. It's a classic Buffett buy: started in 1932 as a small gift shop and today hauls in millions of dollars for party items like plastic Hawaiian leis and glow sticks.  The goodie bag culture has turned the company into a goldmine. Buffett doesn't buy gold but he sure loves companies that 'mine' it.  CEO Sam Taylor told me they've ordered 10,000 Warren and Charlie ducks but he's "not sure that'll be enough."

How does Buffett, arguably the greatest investor of our time, make such smart decisions? How does his mind work?

Fox Business will get you all the answers on Monday morning, 9:30a ET when I sit down with Buffett, Munger and Berkshire boardmember and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates.

We call the interview "The Richest Minds." We'll also have a surprise guest, someone Buffett says will change the face of BRK.

In a new twist this year, we're including three top business schools in the conversation. Fox Business will have live cameras at Columbia Business School, Wake Forest, and Georgetown's McDonough School of Business. The kids will have that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ask some questions. What would your questions be?

Tune in to Fox Business Network on Monday at 9:30a ET!
