Benghazi Patsy? Maker of Anti-Islam Video Remains in Jail

Megyn Kelly and Chris Stirewalt discuss the latest Benghazi revelations, including why the maker of the anti-Islam video remains behind bars.

Some are calling him a patsy, others say he's now a political prisoner. But the man behind an anti-Islam YouTube video that sparked fierce protests across the Muslim world remains in jail on a probation violation. Nakoula Basseley Nakoula became even more famous when the Obama administration falsely stated that the Benghazi attack resulted from a protest over the video.

Megyn Kelly discussed the situation with Fox News digital politics editor Chris Stirewalt, noting that usually someone who violates their probation "gets a court summons, a slap on the wrist and off you go."

Stirewalt pointed out that when the slain victims of Benghazi arrived back in the U.S., President Obama and Hillary Clinton were telling the families that the video was to blame and vowing to punish the man who made it.

Last night on The O'Reilly Factor, the mother of slain Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith said Obama and Clinton both told her face-to-face that the video was to blame for the attack.

"So they need to keep this man in jail," said Kelly. "Because, according to her, you've got the President of the United States, not just Hillary Clinton, telling her 'this is about the video, and we're gonna get the guy who made the video. Her son died in Benghazi! Not in Cairo, not elsewhere."

On Wednesday, State Department whistleblower Gregory Hicks made waves on Capitol Hill by testifying that he was shocked when he heard Susan Rice come out days later and blame the video for the attack.

"None of this ever seems to get any better for the administration, and we've got a long way to go yet," said Stirewalt.
