Cops: Pittsburgh Neuroscientist Poisoned Wife With Cyanide
A University of Pittsburgh neuroscientist, Dr. Robert Ferrante, has been charged with homicide for allegedly poisoning his wife with cyanide. Ferrante, 64, is accused of killing his wife, Dr. Autumn Klein, by lacing her daily creatine drink with the deadly poison.
The 41-year-old Klein collapsed in her home April 17 and died three days later. Officials say Ferrante overnighted a delivery of cyanide on April 15, using a university credit card despite having no medical projects involving the substance.
Martha MacCallum went over the case this morning with Mark Fuhrman.
