Jon Scott Opens Up About Being Part of a Military Family
There are 66,000 United States troops currently serving in Afghanistan. Happening Now anchor, Jon Scott, is a part of the military family. His son Joshua deployed Wednesday for Afghanistan for nine months.
The Fox News anchor said he’s happy to use his platform to talk about military families, but knows that his son is no more special than any other soldier going off to war.
Scott shared his story in a heartfelt and honest account on FoxNews.com and today on Fox and Friends. He said the hardest day, even more than deployment, was dropping is son off at West Point, pictured above.
