Rand Paul: Gov. Christie Is 'Sad and Cheap' for Using 9/11 Victims

As seen on Hannity

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R) criticized libertarians, including Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), for being “dangerous.” He invited Sen. Paul and others to visit with the families of 9/11 victims to talk about their stance on national security.

Sen. Cruz Blasts the President: 'Obama Is NOT Following the Constitution'

Tonight on Hannity, Sen. Paul said it’s “not very smart” for Republicans to attack other Republicans. He said it was “sad and cheap” that Gov. Christie would use the cloak of 9/11 victims to say that he’s the only one who cares about them. “Hogwash! If he cared about protecting this country, maybe he wouldn’t be in this ‘gimme, gimme, gimme all the money you have in Washington, or don’t have,’ and he’d be a little more fiscally responsive.”

O'Reilly Blasts "Race Hustler" Al Sharpton

Sen. Paul said it’s important to remember that there is a Bill of Rights and that Americans shouldn’t be willing to give up all of their liberties in the name of national security. “I’m for spying on terrorists. I’m not for spying on every American.” he said, referring to the NSA surveillance program.

Could ObamaCare Be Used as Detroit's Federal Bailout?

He went on to slam Gov. Christie and his supporters for being “flippant” about privacy and the Fourth Amendment. “They do an injustice to our soldiers. Our soldiers are laying their life on the line for the Bill of Rights.”

Coming up tonight on Hannity at 9p/12a ET, it's former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin!
