WATCH: Former Football Player Nails $20,000 Field Goal
At Simi Valley High School, they offered one lucky fan the chance to win a car or $20,000 in cash by making a 40-yard field goal.
Invictus Igwe was randomly selected to try the kick at halftime of the Simi Valley game vs. rival Royal High.
Turns out he played football at a nearby high school, so he had some experience kicking off a tee. Despite his shoe flying off, he still nailed it.
He chose the cash over the 2014 Camaro and he plans to do a variety of things with the $20K.
He says he'll put some aside for taxes and investments, pay off his credit card and other debts, put some in a savings account, and then give the rest to mom.
