MUST-SEE: Letter to Santa Goes Viral 98 Years Later

As seen on Fox and Friends

A letter from a 7-year-old boy to Santa is going viral 98 years after it was written.

The letter reads:

Dear Santa,

Would you please send me a box of paints, also a nine cent reader, and a school bag to put them in. And if you have any nuts, or candy, or toys to spare, would you kindly send me some. If so, you will please a seven year old boy. Homer Mellen.

Homer’s son, Larry, saved his father’s Christmas wish list from 1915.

“This [letter] has meant so much to me because it was my dad, and it just reflects what his feelings were about Christmas and about life, that it is special, and greed doesn’t have to be part of wanting,” Larry told Fox and Friends.

When asked what he wants for Christmas, Larry said, “Love, peace, health and for everyone to know there is more to Christmas than songs and excitement and stuff.”
