Soldier and Wife's Christmas Card Goes Viral
Long distance love is staying strong through Christmas season for one solider and his wife. Sergeant Daniel Perdue is currently stationed in Afghanistan, while his wife, Christina, is in Westchester County, New York.
The couple, who have been married for three years, wanted to be creative for their Christmas card. The result was two photos taken 7,000 miles apart, edited together with one message: “Merry Christmas.”
They hoped the photo would go viral to show appreciation for U.S. troops serving overseas. Sgt. Daniel is scheduled to return home in January.
