Will Enough Young People Sign Up for ObamaCare?
New information shows the Obama administration is facing an uphill battle to keep ObamaCare from collapsing.
For the law to work, more young, healthy people need to sign up to help pay for older, sicker patients who typically have higher health care costs. So far, 24 percent of ObamaCare enrollees are between 18 and 34 years old. About one-third are between 55 and 64 years old.
Nationwide enrollment shows that 2.2 million people have signed up as of December 2013.
