INTERVIEW: ‘Napkin Notes Dad’ & Daughter Visit Fox & Friends
The “Napkin Notes Dad” and his daughter visited the set of Fox and Friends this weekend.
Garth Callaghan puts a napkin note in his daughter’s lunch bag every school day. When he received his third cancer diagnosis, he decided to write a note for every school day in advance – 826 notes – in the event that he passes away before his daughter, Emma, finishes school.
Emma brought along some of her favorite notes, which read, “Why fit in when you were born to stand out” and “Anyone can be cool, but awesome takes practice.”
“It makes me feel good, it’s like I have a little piece of him with me every day,” she said of the notes.
