Ret. Navy Pilot Held Captive By the Chinese Now Running for U.S. Senate

As seen on Fox and Friends

Retired Navy Pilot Shane Osborn was held captive by the Chinese in 2001 after colliding with a foreign fighter jet and safely crash landing his plane. He was later awarded the flying cross.

Today, Osborn is looking to shape America’s future by running for senator of Nebraska.

On Fox and Friends this morning, Osborn said, “There’s a saying in the Navy that many men and women have given their lives for and it’s, ‘not on my watch.’ And that’s why I’m running for U.S. Senate because not on my watch. I refuse to sit back and watch our country decline.”

Osborn believes more service members should be elected to Congress. “What we need is more people that can handle pressure. If I can take 12 days of interrogation by the communist Chinese, I can certainly handle Harry Reid.”
